This scenic excursion begins at Pico dos Barcelos, where you’ll take in panoramic views over Funchal, framed by the sea and surrounding hills. From there, we climb higher into the mountains to reach Eira do Serrado, an impressive viewpoint offering breathtaking vistas over Curral das Freiras—the secluded “Valley of the Nuns.”

We’ll then descend into the heart of Curral das Freiras, a peaceful and picturesque village nestled in a dramatic volcanic crater, perfect for a stroll and a taste of local charm.

The tour continues through the eastern side of the island, ending at the beautiful Cristo Rei viewpoint, where the iconic statue stands overlooking the Atlantic Ocean—a peaceful spot with stunning coastal scenery.
